Welcome to my page on the work I did at the Haggerty Museum of Art. The impetus for this 4-month residency was my love of playing in art galleries, my desire to expose people to the warmth and round tone of the Baroque flute and a keen interest in how sound and image can interact.
Article on the project:
Concert of works for solo flute rehearsed in the galleries
The music debuted with the 18th century and ended with the 20th century. In addition to my playing, the audience was treated to an improvised piece to two paintings by Marquette University students.
